Babarawana - Hidden beauty of the mother nature
There are so meny unseen places and natural heritages in southern region of Sri Lanka. Babarawana is one of them full of reare species and plants and also several natural water springs. It is located in a reasonable distance from singhara rain forest but has it's own beauty and peacefulness all over the village and surrounding area. There are several natural pools with full of Ice Cold water springs starting from singharaja forest. There are great spots to burn a camping fire and settle for a fresh air and natural peacefulness without second thoughts.
2.5 hours ride from Colombo but may be take little bit longer due to road condition from Baddegama to Babarawana. This is one of the best places in southern region for the hikers and also nature lovers worth to give a shot. Recommended 4 wheel drive with full gear for better entertainment.
